Parking is available in the Zoo, subject to available spaces. We do have allocated disability parking for guests with a blue badge.

The car park is free and is open from 9am daily. Please note car park closes approx 30 mins after zoo closes.

Yes, tickets can be purchased on the day from our friendly guest experience team.

Tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable as per our terms and conditions so prebooked tickets are only valid on the specified date.

No, you do not have to arrive at the exact time on your ticket. You can visit anytime from the time stated on your ticket up until one hour before the zoo closes.

Closing times on selected dates may be affected by special events. The only exception to this would be allocated timeslots for Santas grotto to ensure crowd control is in place so that guests do not experience excessive wait times.

Adult and child guests who are registered disabled are entitled to our disabled adult or child ticket rates. An essential carer enters free with each ticket. To collect the essential carer ticket, please make sure you bring along your supporting documents that shows you require a carer as well as a copy of your ticket that has been purchased in advance.

Yes, if you want to book for a group of 15 or more people you would need to contact our friendly guest experience team on 01245 324043 who will advise you of any group booking discounts that would apply for your visit and arrange to take payment to secure your booking. Please note terms and conditions do apply. Discounts do not apply for online bookings.

If you have purchased tickets directly via our website or phone line, you do not need to print if you have a smart device such as a phone or tablet, simply download your tickets and present the relevant order number and barcode to a member of our guest experience team on admissions.

We offer Blue light card members a discount on day admission tickets only to Call of the Wild Zoo. Please note discount does not apply online, discounted tickets can only be purchased from our admissions team on day of Zoo visit by the blue light member in person. Please note we will ask to see blue light card alongside supporting Identification for the named person on the blue light card at time of purchase. Terms and conditions apply. Please speak to a member of our guest experience team to learn more.

We work hard to ensure Call of the Wild Zoo is accessible for all visitors.

We operate a ‘welcome all’ policy [see Disabled Access] and the park is fully accessible for wheelchairs. You may find the little wooden bridge over the pond in the Tropical House is not suitable. However, we offer a short alternative route, without the need to miss anything. We also have Accessible Toilet facilities and allocated parking spaces close to the main entrance for Blue Badge holders.

We do have a wheelchair that can be hired but this is on a first come, first served basis. You would need to pay a £20.00 deposit for the wheelchair but this is refundable on return.

We do offer gift vouchers that can be purchased for gifts. Please note gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. During which time it would need to have been booked and redeemed.

We also offer a flexi day ticket which are open ended tickets valid for a single visit within 1 year.

You can buy your annual membership on our website, via email or in person at our admissions desk.

Yes, if you want to upgrade your ticket you can do this at any point on the day of your visit by either visiting our admissions desk or retail shop.

We have an outdoor food outlet that offers a selection of food options.

Please note our BBQ and ice cream kiosk is only open on selected dates throughout the year.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own picnics and we provide picnic tables.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted in the Zoo.

Your food is for humans only! We do not allow visitors to bring food for our animals. For their wellbeing, they all have a very specific controlled diet.

Our Lemur walk through is open daily 11- 2pm but times can vary throughout the year/seasonal.

In the interest of visitor safety, we kindly ask that you do not bring bikes, scooters, skateboards into the zoo. The only exception is mobility scooters which visitors use at their own risk. Call of the Wild Zoo can not be held accountable for any damage/theft of a mobility scooter when on site.

We currently do not have highchairs for public use.

Sorry, we operate a ‘No dogs except guide dogs’ policy. Please do not bring your dog with you – see the RSPCA poster – dogs die in hot cars  Please be kind and leave them at home.
